Manual therapy, education and exercises to help you manage:
We can provide physiotherapy for neurological conditions and disabilities, including (but not limited to):
We can provide physiotherapy for cardiopulmonary conditions, including (but not limited to):
If you prefer to do your exercises in the pool, we offer hydrotherapy sessions to develop an exercise program tailored to you and your goals.
Dry needling is an alternative therapy that uses fine needles to target trigger points. It is used to treat injuries and pain and is best used in conjunction with manual therapy. It helps to increase range of motion that may be limited due to muscle tightness.
We provide intervention for balance and vestibular conditions, and can complete a balance assessment with you to determine the most appropriate treatment based on your results.
If you are a regular gym user and have a current or past injury that you would like assistance with managing, we can provide tailored exercises to help you strengthen and stabilise the problem area.
All patients will be provided with an exercise program (through PhysiApp) which will be adjusted as necessary during subsequent appointments. We provide tailored programs specific to your goals or needs (e.g. general strengthening, injury management, PRE-habilitation).
Pre-employment physical assessments (also known as functional assessments) are a physical assessment to determine fitness for work based on predetermined criteria.
We provide services for everyone, including those on special packages (NDIS, DVA and My Aged Care, WorkCover) or who have a referral from your GP for a Medicare rebate. Please see our price list for differing fees.
In my time as a physiotherapist I have gained a broad range of experience, namely with disability and neurological conditions, aged care and musculoskeletal pain management and recovery.
I completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at James Cook University in Townsville and during this time I worked with people with disabilities and spinal injuries. This helped build a strong foundation for my current physiotherapy skills.
I am a father of two young children, one of whom has a disability, and I completely understand the daily challenges that come with this responsibility.
In my professional career I have developed myself further by completing courses in Gerontological physiotherapy, balance and mobility, neurological rehabilitation (including stroke rehab), manual therapy and dry needling. I am always working towards improving my knowledge and skills so that I can better help others.
My strengths are my empathetic and easy-going nature, active-listening, and treating my clients with dignity and respect.
I can assure you when book my services, you are receiving all my time and attention.
Our convenient client booking portal will step you through the booking process and you can manage your appointments without the need to phone us.
