In my time as a physiotherapist I have gained a broad range of experience, namely with disability and neurological conditions, aged care and musculoskeletal pain management and recovery.
I completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at James Cook University in Townsville and during this time I worked with people with disabilities and spinal injuries. This helped build a strong foundation for my current physiotherapy skills.
I am a father of two young children, one of whom has a disability, and I completely understand the daily challenges that come with this responsibility.
In my professional career I have developed myself further by completing courses in Gerontological physiotherapy, balance and mobility, neurological rehabilitation (including stroke rehab), manual therapy and dry needling. I am always working towards improving my knowledge and skills so that I can better help others.
My strengths are my empathetic and easy-going nature, active-listening, and treating my clients with dignity and respect.
I can assure you when book my services, you are receiving all of my time and attention.

Lachlan provides interventions for balance and vestibular conditions by conducting thorough balance assessments to identify what is affecting your stability. A personalised program is created for you to improve strength, coordination, and confidence, helping reduce your risk of falls and keep you moving safely in everyday life.

Lachlan can provide physiotherapy for neurological conditions and disabilities, including (but not limited to):

Manual therapy, education and exercises to help you manage:

If you prefer to do your exercises in the pool, Lachlan offers hydrotherapy sessions to develop an exercise program tailored to you and your goals. Hydrotherapy provides a low‑impact, supportive environment that reduces pain and joint stress while improving strength, mobility, and confidence.

Lachlan can provide physiotherapy for cardiopulmonary conditions, including (but not limited to):

If you are a regular gym user and have a current or past injury that you would like assistance with managing, Lachlan can provide tailored exercises to help you strengthen and stabilise the problem area.

Dry needling is an alternative therapy that uses fine needles to target trigger points. It is used to treat injuries and pain and is best used in conjunction with other manual therapy and exercise. It helps to increase range of motion that may be limited due to muscle tightness.

Pre-Employment Physical Assessments (also known as Functional Assessments) are a physical assessment designed to determine fitness for work based on pre-determined criteria.

Yes! Lachlan can come to your home for physio. He can also arrange to meet you at gyms, pools or elsewhere in the community that suits your goals.

You do not need a referral to see Lachlan. Physios are classed as primary contact practitioners which means you can book in with them without having to see you doctor first (unless you are seeking bulk billed services).
Prices vary depending on the length of service. Prices start at $85. The full price list can be viewed here.
Wear comfortable clothes or active wear including suitable shoes to your appointment. Lachlan aims to protect your modesty and wants you to feel comfortable during a treatment session, so wear clothing that makes your injured area accessible for when manual therapy is indicated.
